Silent tears of my dad

Flawless pious radiance on your face

Remind me of those days when you used to laugh

Whilst during the journey of your karma

I sit by your bed, watching the pure soul god blessed me as my father

Those were the days when my tiny body used to dance in your lap

Those were the days when my small feet learned how to walk from your hand

Every time i recall my childhood memoirs, a big beam comes on my face

Youth arrived on my door, childhood seemed to fade

A mature young girl and words of ethics, integrity was

Given to my mind and heart

We listened to you, we abided by you, we disobeyed you,

But your love, your insight stayed with us

Each one blundered in life but my dad you have no error in my eyes

You showered smile and hilarity to whomever walked into your life

My father, my innocent father, the dearest father of mine

You are wrapped in cotton wool

All your children, every single one, was shielded under the umbrella of your love

Then why did the world beleaguer you, torment you

Why is the world so callous to such a pure soul like yours

The tiny little voice in your heart is weeping

Even though i still see a smile on your face, divine light is

 Shimmering

Today it is my turn to bring you back to my world

Today is my duty to teach you how to walk, how to crawl

Today it is my turn to clean your silent tears

Today is my turn to shut the door of cruel friends and foes

My dad, my loving dad don’t be sad, this world is gone mad

You are leaving a legacy of love, of fatherhood

Those who cause pain in your life will be forgiven

Because you’re soul never seeked revenge

 Your silent tears seek forgiveness

For all humans
